If you are looking for a treatment with a pleasant smell, coconut oil will also help you fight lice. Rinse your hair with cider oil, and then put coconut oil on your scalp. Leave on for 6 to 8 hours, then comb your hair and wash it afterwards. Do it every day for 4 days. Coconut oil is an excellent nourishing care for the hair.

You will also find in pharmacies a mixture of coconut oil and organic real lavender essential oil. Leave it on for 45 minutes, then rinse and wash the hair. Renew 10 days later with an exposure time of only 15 minutes for the treatment of nits that have hatched in the meantime.

Onion juice should be applied to the scalp when it is dry. It should be left to act for 3 to 4 hours. It sounds preposterous, but massaging the scalp with mayonnaise and letting it sit for 2 hours is an effective remedy for lice but it does not eliminate the nits, you will have to use the comb for that. Paint after the application and then wash with your shampoo. It is recommended to make a homemade mayonnaise and you can add a few drops of apple cider vinegar.

How do you know if the nits are dead?

If they are more than 2 cm from the scalp, then it’s good. The comb remains an essential tool to detach them. You slide from the root to the tips, with a small compress or damp cotton wool, placed between the comb and the hair, this will allow you to harvest them and throw them directly with.

How to remove lice from clothes?

To get rid of lice on clothes, towels, barrettes, and other accessories used in the hair, you just need to put them in a plastic bag for 48 hours. Indeed lice do not survive if they are not supplied with blood for 24 hours and it is even better if you put them in the refrigerator because they need a minimum temperature of 30 degrees.
